With us at Environmental Solutions (Asia), safety is an extension of our other core value, Ethics. As we outline the concept of the triple bottom line, emphasizing sustainability, we have a commitment towards social and ecological sustainability. 

Safety is important in all of those dimensions. As we provide base and precious metal services, the safety of our workers in our recycling operations is of utmost importance for the company. Not only do we comply with the law but also actively obtained additional certifications e.g. BIZsafe. Moreover, we conduct fire safety exercises on a regular basis, as one of the basic safety measures. As our workers also process toxic and hazardous waste, it is crucial for their health that they are familiar with the properties of it and know which protective equipment to use. Only workers with appropriate skills can therefore handle toxic and hazardous waste. We provide enough safety equipment, clothing, helmets and other protective wear to our workers. So, they can conduct all our recycling operations in a safe way.

Safety can also be seen from a sustainability point of view: As we take in toxic and hazardous waste, we provide a safe way for this waste to be recycled so it will not leak into the environment causing damage there. Our Zero Waste approach supports us in minimizing residues and fostering circular economy as far as possible.
