1999
Environmental Solutions (Asia) got its start by renting a small trading office in Chinatown and started to offer waste management services, focusing on the safe cross-border transport of industrial waste.
2003
As the company grew and also started to process metal bearing sludges and automobile catalyst, we moved to a rented space in Singapore’s industrial district Tuas.
2005
We opened our own facility with 8000 sq ft for recycling in Tuas View.
2007
When the company started with a new business field, the thermal processing of industrial catalysts, we opened another facility in Tuas.
2015
We developed an integrated logistics system in facilitating precious metal bulk sampling. Therefore, we started to conduct recycling processes of base and precious metals in todays’ main facility in Tuas South Ave 2 with a surface of 94,000 sq ft.
2018
We put up 750 kWp photovoltaic panels on the roofs of our factories, generating electricity to power to our recycling operations.
2019
Currently, we divert 20 000 metric tons of various wastes per year away from the landfill through our recycling operations in Singapore.
2020
Last year, we launched our new project to tackle packaging waste. With plastic-to-fuel pyrolysis, we can process plastic waste to diesel fuel (which we call NewOil™). We plan to start processing 20 000 tons of plastic waste per year in order to produce the first made-in-Singapore sustainable diesel fuel.
